Parents and Students, the High School Showcase is an opportunity for 7th and 8th grade parents and students to learn about programs and career academies available at each Volusia County High School. Come out and see all of the fantastic programs your rising high school students will have access to!

Important Notice
Florida Statute 943.082 states that if, following an investigation, it is determined that a person knowingly submitted a false tip through FortifyFL, the Internet protocol (IP) address of the device on which the tip was submitted will be provided to law enforcement agencies for further investigation, and the reporting party may be subject to criminal penalties under s. 837.05. In all other circumstances, unless the reporting party has chosen to disclose his or her identity, the report will remain anonymous.

BEST Writing Parent Letter

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that your student will take the computer-based Grade 6,7 and 8 for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Writing assessment on April 3rd, 2025, The B.E.S.T. Writing assessment is administered in one 120-minute session, and students may work up to half of a typical school day. Your school will provide information about how to access the test results.

If you or your student would like to review the computer-based sample items at home, the sample items and certain released tests are available at https://flfast.org/families.html.

Come enjoy a Fun Escape Room Activity as a family!!!

(All Grades) Wednesday, March 26th       5:30-7:30 pm in the Cafeteria

(The last group admitted to the escape room will be @ 7:10pm)

Please join us at Heritage Middle School as you are immersed in a fun escape game activity.  Students and their families are invited to this event. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
